Montgomery Distribution, a member of the Palletways network, has invested in a 135,000-square-foot state-of-the-art logistics hub in Preston.
To ensure an unparalleled customer experience and maintain the highest service standards, the newly acquired site is currently undergoing an impressive £3.4 million refurbishment. This substantial investment reaffirms Montgomery Distribution’s dedication to provide cutting-edge solutions and meeting the evolving demands of its clients.
It will transform the logistics hub into a state-of-the-art facility with the latest technologies and optimised infrastructure, bolstering Montgomery Distribution’s operational efficiency and strengthen its overall offering to the industry.
The news comes just two years after Montgomery Distribution ploughed more than £1 million to relocate to a new depot in Rugby which featured sufficient storage for more than 5,000 pallets along with the acquisition of 25 Scania Vehicles and 23 latest generation forklift trucks across its regional depots in Belfast, Leeds, Preston and Rugby.
