Staffordshire based Pallet Network Solutions has become the latest logistics firm to join the Palletways UK network in response to the increasing demand for a trusted regional partner to handle direct haulage to customers and support services at the Palletways Fradley hub such as shunting, and direct loads for Palletways Corporate depot.
Founded in 2013, Pallet Network Solutions currently employs nearly 30 people and operates a fleet of more than 14 delivery vehicles and 50 trailers including shunters. They are now a proud member that cover the Warwick and Leamington Spa postcodes.
The firm offers dynamic business-to-business and business-to-customers haulage and pallet delivery services to a range of customers within the engineering, agricultural and builders merchants’ sectors. Additionally, it provides hub management services like trunking and shunting to allow hubs to manage their yard and overspill.
Pallet Network Solutions is expected to transport more than 300 pallets throughout the night and 500 pallets during the day over 48 trailers per day whilst performing over 40 hub clears to a range of Palletways key accounts that pass through the Fradley Hub.
Claire Douthwaite, business development and key account manager for Pallet Network Solutions said: “Becoming a sole network member to Palletways was an easy decision to make. We’ve worked with Palletways for many years, providing support services to their Fradley hub and corporate depot. As we expanded to offer customers our new haulage service, it seemed only natural to partner with Palletways.
“We’ll collect and deliver a high volume of pallets across the Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Leamington Spa area. The technologies that Palletways offers allow us, as a business, to provide stability for our customers as we can easily scale up in peak sessions. Palletways tracking technologies, such as ETA, are just one of the many benefits of joining the network that allow us to put our customers first and bring further efficiencies to our business operations. Being based at the Fradley hub means that we have complete control of our customers’ pallets and it means they have very little distance to travel between hubs.
“We have a great working relationship with Palletways. One of the reasons we joined the network is because of their and their trusted consumer reputation. We hope that our appointment will strengthen the Staffordshire, Warwick and Leamington Spa area and we are already seeing the return on our investment.”
Warwick Trimble, network director for Palletways UK, added: “This is yet another significant signing for Palletways and one that sends out a strong signal to competitors and the wider industry that the network remains an attractive proposition to prominent hauliers in the sector.”
