Swaffham-based GE-BE Transport has been awarded a large-scale account for a further two years with one of the country’s leading heating product companies.
Big K, an award-winning, family-owned business located in Whittington near King’s Lynn, is at the forefront of providing a range of sustainable winter heating fuel and summer BBQ essentials across the country. The organisation prides itself on high-quality customer service and went to market last year in search of a reliable logistics provider to handle its fast-paced freight movements.
GE-BE Transport, a member of Palletways UK, Europe’s largest express palletised freight network, is responsible for the company’s palletised collections and deliveries across East Anglia. Over the past year, GE-BE has demonstrated its excellent customer service and efficient operations to Big K resulting in the contract renewal following a competitive tender. The firm moves around 12,500 pallets each year of charcoal, wood and BBQ and cooking essentials up and down the country, supplying restaurants, kebab houses and retailers.
