The Palletways Group, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, are celebrating the opening of its new hub in central Poland to support the company’s rapid growth.
The hub, located in Łódź, is fully operational and comprises 2,500 m² (26,900 sq ft) of distribution and logistics space, and is led by Tomasz Cegielski, Managing Director for Palletways new Polish network. Palletways Polska offers state of the art facilities for Palletways Polish members and customers. It will benefit from the full range of Palletways IT innovations which enable all customers to access consignment information in real time, throughout the journey from collection to delivery.
Palletways Polska, which has 12 members, will provide collection and delivery services to every postcode area within Poland. Palletways are currently recruiting additional Polish members, with four more expected to sign in the coming months as volumes continue to grow.
The new hub in Łódź will offer significant benefits to the 20 European countries that it will help to serve. These include:
· Daily connections with Germany and the rest of the Palletways international hub network, including Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia
· A full range of Economy and Premium domestic services within Poland

Palletways’ pan-European network is growing at a substantial rate. Today it handles up to 40,000 pallets across Europe every day and is expected to grow by another 10% this year. The expansion of follows the 2016 acquisition of the business by Imperial and the company embarking on its next phase of growth across Europe.
